What to write about.
A few sentences on what has been going on, and what you’re hoping a first conversation might do. Nothing formal. I don’t need your life story, just enough to know whether I’m the right person for what you’re dealing with. If I’m not, I can usually point you toward someone who is.
If you are writing on behalf of an organization about a speaking engagement, training, or advisory work, say so in the subject line and the speaking page has more on what is on offer.
On fit.
The first call is a mutual read. You get a sense of whether working with me feels useful. I get a sense of whether what you’re dealing with is within my scope of practice. If the fit is off in either direction, I’d rather say so in the first thirty minutes than three sessions in, and when that happens I can usually suggest someone who’d be a better fit.
I practice as a Psychological Coach, with full legal protection of the Coach Mentale title in Switzerland and registration as a Psychologist-NIP® #252480 in the Netherlands. I am not a psychotherapist, and I’m not set up for acute mental-health crises or situations where immediate safety is a concern.
